Controversy

During the casting period in July 2016, A private message by Miriam Sia and notorious columnist Mark Francisco was posted in public and revealing the project which was still being kept a secret that time. The post resulted to an exchange of harsh remarks between Mark, Cloyd Winstanley and Alvin Adaza thru text and facebook posts. Mark Francisco refused to delete the post thus resulting to a heated argument therefore jeopardizing the secrecy of the project.

According to Alvin Adaza in a private interview with a blogger:

“We wanted to keep the project a secret lang sa from the public that time kay wala paman gud mi naka shoot ato. Di man gud mi gusto nga ang among idea ma bal-an sa uban kay unya awatun na hinuon. Ma gansi na nuon mi. kami gud naka una ana nga idea.”

Alvin added that the controversial facebook post resulted to Miriam Sia pulling out from the project.

“Gipa kalma lang sa namo ang situation kay init kaayo. Naapektohan ug ayo si Miriam to the point nga dili na sya ga reply sa ako and dili nasad sya interesado sa role. Nag leave sad sya sa group chat and it really made me sad.”

Cloyd also expressed frustration and anger to Mark siting that he “posted a private message of a minor and betrayed her trust.”

“Wa man ko’y labot if ma bal-an sa tanan ang among plano total nag binogok naman sya (Mark), di man sad niya tangtangon iyang post bisan unsaon nakog pakaon ug insulto…ang ako lang nga minor man gud si Miriam.”  Cloyd added.

NBSB Official Poster

Cloyd Winstanley meets MOST models Amanda Grunwald, Andrea Ebajay and 2 others for the first time at a gym somewhere in Lifestyle District. "They were the only ones who came for the supposed acting workshop that morning because of the heavy rain. I was soaking wet yet still managed to talk to them." - Cloyd Winstanley

Cloyd Winstanley shooting the Theater Scene with Pamela Bagares as Andrea Ebajay helps with the sound (Cloyd's iphone 4). "This seemed like a very easy scene to watch but was quite difficult to make. Aside from my hyperactive son roaming around the set, almost no equipment and no crew, Pamela can't seem to get into the character i envisioned. It took me almost 3 hours to shoot such a short sequence." - Cloyd Winstanley
